Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7/20/2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Blog Porter collects and uses personal data when you visit our website, request a blog migration, use the Blog Porter WordPress plugin, contact us, or purchase our services.
Blog Porter is operated by Azor Studio ("Blog Porter", "we", "us", or "our"). If you have questions or want to exercise your privacy rights, contact us through our contact page.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use Blog Porter, we may collect:
- Contact and support information you provide to us
- Information about the blog or website involved in a migration
- Content required to prepare and deliver the migration
- Transaction and billing confirmations provided by our payment partners
- Technical and usage information needed to operate, protect, and improve the Service
We do not receive or store complete payment card details. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to ask us to process the content submitted for migration.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide and support the Service, process payments, deliver migrations, communicate with you, prevent abuse, improve Blog Porter, and comply with applicable legal and accounting obligations.
Where required by data protection law, we rely on the performance of our contract with you, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the Service, or your consent.
3. WordPress plugin
The Blog Porter WordPress plugin does not require a Blog Porter account. It communicates with Blog Porter only when a WordPress administrator uses features that require our Service, such as preparing, purchasing, connecting, or importing a migration.
The plugin exchanges only the information reasonably necessary to complete those actions. It may also keep limited migration state in the WordPress installation so that an import can continue and its progress can be displayed. Disconnecting or uninstalling the plugin removes the relevant local connection information in accordance with the plugin's functionality.
4. Service providers
We work with trusted service providers to operate Blog Porter. These currently include Vercel, Supabase, Polar, Resend, PostHog, Google, Slack, and InvoiceXpress.
These providers support areas such as infrastructure, payments, communications, analytics, and business operations. They process information only as needed to provide their services to us and under their own terms and privacy commitments. We do not sell personal data.
5. Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service and meet security, support, accounting, dispute-resolution, and legal requirements.
Completed export files and their underlying migrated content are normally available for three months after completion. Other business or transaction records may be kept for longer where there is a legitimate or legal need.
6. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential website functions, preferences, analytics, and measuring the effectiveness of our communications and advertising. You can use your browser settings and applicable consent controls to limit non-essential cookies, although some features may work less effectively.
7. International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside your country. Where required, we rely on recognized safeguards for international data transfers.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal data. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, or complain to a data protection authority.
Contact us through our contact page to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before completing it.
10. Children's privacy
Blog Porter is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service or legal requirements change. We will update the date shown at the top of the page when appropriate.
For privacy questions or requests, contact Azor Studio through our contact page. Use of the Service is also governed by our Terms and Conditions.
